If you find yourself wandering the vibrant streets of Bockenheim in Frankfurt am Main, make sure to pay a visit to butter, Café. This charming café located at Konrad-Broßwitz-Straße 1 is the perfect spot for those seeking a delightful escape with an inviting atmosphere and scrumptious offerings that evoke a sense of coziness and community.

At butter, the focus is on quality and comfort, with a menu that hints at Scandinavian inspiration yet indulges the heart and soul of good café culture. From freshly baked croissants that are soft and flaky to delectable focaccia, each bite is a testament to the craftsmanship that goes into creating every dish. Whether you’re in the mood for a light breakfast or a leisurely brunch, you can expect to be greeted with nourishing options that radiate warmth.

Riccardo Dessi sums it up perfectly: “The spot that Bockenheim needed. Great ambience and amazing food. The focaccia is a 10/10.” Indeed, the ambience is everything you’d hope for in a neighborhood café, with a cozy, inviting design that beckons you to sit back and enjoy your surroundings while you savor your meal.

For tea and coffee lovers, the offerings at butter do not disappoint. Patrons rave about the carefully curated drinks that complement the food immensely. Soyun “Lily” Lee shares, “cute Danish inspired café with great breads.” Imagine sipping on a rich, filtered coffee paired with your choice of bread and butter as you indulge in the serene vibe that envelops you. It's a true oasis during the bustling brunch rush, so it’s wise to plan your visit during off-peak hours for an uninterrupted experience.

The thoughtful service elevates your experience further; Tomislav Maricevic acknowledges the staff's warmth, noting his delight with dishes like “Butter mit Brot” and the exquisite Musli topped with grated pistachio. His comments about the need for clearer ordering instructions at the counter hint at a small area for improvement, but they certainly do not detract from the overall charm and excellence butter has to offer.

In a world swarming with options, butter stands out as a thoughtfully designed café that prioritizes not just the food, but also the entire dining experience. The combination of infectious energy, melodic playlists (which customers are eager for), and stunning gastronomic offerings make it an establishment you’ll likely cherish as one of your favorites in Frankfurt.

So next time you're in the city, particularly in the Bockenheim area, don't miss out on this gem. With every taste and texture crafted for your enjoyment, butter, Café is where your craving for quality café culture meets the exceptional.

Very nice place in Bockenheim. It seems from other reviews that sometimes waiting time to enter can be very long, when I was there it was not the case. I got Butter mit Brot and my wife Musli. Butter was very good, salty and creamy and sourdough bread was nice as well , Musli were even better with grated pistachio on top. Service was nice but they have to write or warn people to order at the counter, we didn’t know and we waited 5 minutes for someone to come. I am not sure I would wait 45 minutes to enter but if there is no line I highly recommend it.

cute danish inspired cafe with great breads. Had a filtered coffee and bread & butter, would avoid visiting at brunch time during the weekends
